Footbalms – Paraffins and silicones detectable

In the current Öko-Test issue (August), various creams and balms for foot care were tested, which are especially popular in the summer. Out of 24 tested products, 17 received the highest rating. However, the following substances were detected in some products and resulted in point deductions:

-       Silicones

-       Paraffins

-       Aromatic mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH)

-       PEG/PEG derivatives
