Furthermore, the working group for the further development of official slaughter animal and meat inspection in the poultry sector has provided advice based on the table developed by an AFFL project group on "Meat Hygiene for the Prevention of Food Hygiene Risks in Poultry Slaughtering".
The table lists potential risk points in the area of meat hygiene, which are intended to assist the responsible monitoring authorities in identifying weaknesses and, if necessary, to demand appropriate measures.
AFFL has recommended the application of this table and has communicated this information through associations as well as food companies.
