There are repeated recalls of cosmetics due to high heavy metal findings, primarily due to lead and arsenic.

In general, according to the recommendation of the BVL, the following heavy metals (primarily in decorative cosmetics) are determined:

• Arsenic
• Antimony
• Lead
• Cadmium
• Mercury
• Chromium
• Nickel

In addition, we also have the ability to determine Chromium (VI) as well as sweat-soluble Nickel. The measurement by ICP-MS is possible not only in the final product but also in the raw materials used.
