IFSCC Science Congress September 2018

From September 18 to 21, the IFSCC Congress will take place in Munich under the motto "Cosmetics: Science for Beauty and Lifestyle". During the four days of the congress, current scientific and technical aspects of cosmetic science and cosmetic research will be presented and discussed by international speakers.

Additionally, half-day workshops on topics such as in-vivo measurement methods, skin models, caffeine-containing products, and preservation will be held. The Preservation Workshop mainly addresses the issue of microbiological product safety and product stability, taking into account the preservative properties of the products. Ms. Joelle Nussbaum from the BAV Institute will explain microbiological testing procedures in a lecture titled "Testing the Microbiological Stability of Cosmetics" and provide answers to questions regarding the microbiological stability of cosmetic products.
