Information to the public about health-hazardous food products
A current leaflet from the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection provides information on measures and possible procedures in the event of a health hazard.
In the ministry's press release, text suggestions from the Robert Koch Institute are also mentioned. These can be used in the case of findings such as Salmonella, Campylobacter, STEC/VTEC/EHEC, Listeria monocytogenes, Yersinia, Bacillus cereus, Clostridium perfringens, Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium botulinum, and/or noroviruses in ready-to-eat foods, provided the food must be withdrawn from the market in accordance with Article 19 of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 (Basic Regulation).
Our customer advisors are available to answer any questions you may have on this topic.
