SiliconesNotNecessary – Stiftung Warentest tests hair conditioners
In the current February 2019 issue, Stiftung Warentest took a closer look at a total of 17 hair conditioners. The result: 10 products received a good rating, 7 products received a satisfactory rating.
The following parameters were tested in detail:
- Care properties such as combability, texture, volume, shine, etc.
- Critical substances: fragrance Lilial, cyclosiloxanes, mineral oil components, microplastics
- Packaging, declaration, and advertising claims
Certified natural cosmetic products are free from silicones, artificial fragrances, and synthetic surfactants.
Have your end products tested for the critical ingredients mentioned above as well as other possible contaminants. The BAV Institute and its Tentamus laboratory partners analyze residues and contaminants using the latest methods to meet the requirements of the regulation (EC) 1223/2009.
