Listofingredients–AdjustmentoftheSwissFDHAregulationoncosmeticproducts(VKos)

With the amendment letter dated October 14, 2022, to the Ordinance on Cosmetic Products (VKos) for Switzerland, the glossary or nomenclature of the ingredient list of cosmetics is changed and updated.

Previously, reference was made to the decision of the European Union (EU) 2019/701. With the publication of the decision (EU) 2022/677 this summer, reference is now made to this regulation. New terminologies for ingredients of cosmetic products were included and the existing list was updated.

Products that do not meet these standards may still be labeled according to the previous regulations until April 28, 2023, after which products can be sold off until stocks are exhausted.
