Microbiological results in 24h – Rapid methods at BAV

The BAV Institute aims to provide fast and reliable services. In microbiology, therefore, the following parameters are analyzed using accredited 24-hour rapid methods:

• Salmonella
• Listeria monocytogenes
• STEC/EHEC
• Presumptive Bacillus cereus
• Coagulase-positive staphylococci

Results from germ identifications are usually available within a few hours using Maldi-Tof. In chemical analyses, our experts also offer express analysis, e.g. for pesticides or fipronil.
