Milk - Recall

The bacterium Aeromonas hydrophila/caviae was found in the reduced-fat milk from "Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH" together with "Fude + Serrahn Milchprodukte." Since this poses a health risk to consumers, the products from the private labels of Real, Netto, Rewe, Aldi, and Lidl are being recalled.

The bacterium Aeromonas hydrophila/caviae was detected during a routine check of some batches of reduced-fat milk. The products are exclusively marked with the identification mark DE NW 508 EG, and other marks are not affected.

The affected fresh milk products originate from the DMK plant in Everswinkel (Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH).

In our laboratory, we regularly conduct tests for aeromonads and other pathogenic germs such as Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella. We provide fast and reliable results.
Our customer advisors are happy to assist you with any questions.
