Mineral oils (MOAH), fragrances, and other critical substances detected in night creams

Öko-Test tests in the current issue (December 2022) 36 different night creams. 18 of the creams only received a satisfactory or inadequate rating from Öko-Test due to controversial ingredients. 

The following substances were detected and the products downgraded:

• Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
• Mineral oil compounds (MOAH)
• Silicones
• Fragrances
• Formaldehyde/releasers
