Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) – Requirements for Cosmetics in the USA

The MoCRA is an update of the requirements for cosmetic products in the USA. The following changes have been made:

“Product Listing”: Registration of all products
“Facility Registration”: Manufacturing facilities must be registered
“Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)” Implementation of GMP by manufacturing facilities
US companies that have generated less than 1 million dollars in revenue in recent years are exempt from these new requirements (Exception: Manufacturers of eye products)
