In the current December issue of the SOFW journal, an article by Ms. Nussbaum from the BAV Institute (on behalf of the DGK) has been published: "Microbiological Quality Management for Controlling Quality Costs (Part 2)".

This article comprehensively explains how a concept for potential cost savings for microbiological efforts in the development and manufacture of cosmetics can look like.

The goal remains product safety in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and, in the field of microbiology, compliance with the criteria of ISO 17516.
