New Control Authority for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs in Bavaria

As of January 1, 2018, the new Bavarian Control Authority for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs is responsible for the inspections of food businesses operating across regions in Bavaria and approved under Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004.

The main office of the authority is in Kulmbach, with another office in Erding. The authority takes on the entire responsibility for official monitoring of the aforementioned food businesses in Bavaria.
