New Maximum Levels for Dioxins - In BAV Newsletter 03/2011

As of January 1st, 2012, new trigger values and maximum levels for dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs apply across Europe, along with new sampling procedures and analytical methods. The new regulation includes maximum levels for dioxins, for the sum of dioxins and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), as well as an addition regarding non-dioxin-like PCBs in various foods.
