New Criteria for Salmonella in Fresh Poultry Meat - In BAV Newsletter 04/2011
As of December 1, 2011, new requirements regarding Salmonella in fresh poultry meat apply throughout Europe. Regulation (EC) No 1086/2011 amends Regulation (EC) No 2160/2003 on the control of Salmonella and other foodborne zoonotic agents, as well as Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs accordingly.
