New testing methods for pharmaceuticals established - Ph. Eur. 2.6.36 and 2.6.38

We are pleased to offer you the following testing procedures according to the European Pharmacopoeia effective immediately:

• Ph. Eur. 2.6.36: 
• Microbiological testing of live biotherapeutic products: Enumeration of microbial contaminants
• Ph. Eur. 2.6.38:

Microbiological testing of live biotherapeutic products: Detection of specified microorganisms

These tests are relevant for so-called live biotherapeutic products (LBP) from the area of non-sterile medicinal products. We carry out these tests both under GMP (the GMP certificate has been extended) and as an accredited testing service.

The tests are essentially based on the already well-known testing procedures Ph. Eur. 2.6.12 and 2.6.13.  

With these new methods, we have significantly expanded our portfolio in the field of pharmaceutical testing. In addition to these procedures, we offer additional services such as monitoring, identification, or consulting on hygienic issues.
