After a major food corporation recently announced that it wants to apply a color-coded nutritional labeling to its products in Germany, this topic has once again gained relevance among consumer protection organizations and in politics. In France, a "nutrition traffic light" known as the Nutri-Score model was introduced last year. A similar model also exists in England.
