Pesticide residues in Europe

From the monitoring data of 2016, it can be concluded that the food consumed in Europe is often free from pesticide residues or contains residue amounts within the legal limits.

Thus, more than 96% of the samples analyzed for the current annual report on pesticide residues in food were within the legal limits and around 51% were free from quantifiable residues.
