Proficiency Test 2024 Cosmetics – DGK Working Group Analytics

The DGK Analytical Working Group will also conduct an interlaboratory comparison test in 2024 on physicochemical parameters in cosmetics and raw materials. Our cosmetics expert, Mr. Eitel from the BAV Institute, is a member of the working group.

The ring test is an instrument of quality assurance and allows participating laboratories to evaluate the performance of their respective test parameters.

This year, the program includes the following parameters, among others:

• pH value
• Density
• Water content
• Residue on drying
• Panthenol
• Glycerin
• Q10

Of course, the BAV Institute, as part of the international Tentamus Laboratory Group, participates in these tests.
