Publication of the minutes of the 23rd meeting of the BfR Commission for Cosmetic Products
Recently, the protocol of the 23rd meeting of the BfR Commission for Cosmetics was published. This body advises as an independent panel of experts on all topics related to the health safety of cosmetic products (Regulation (EC) 1223/2009).
The following points were discussed, among others:
- Latest developments on contact allergy to preservatives (thiazolinones) and fragrances
- Thiamidol in depigmentation products (skin bleaching)
- Examination of nail polishes for nitrosamines (NDELA, NDMA, NDEA, NMOR)
- Report on the meeting of the European Society for Tattoo and Pigment Research
- Eyelash dyes
