Recall of Organic Oat Porridge Due to Salmonella
According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Salmonella is one of the most common causes of foodborne illnesses in humans.
Recently, Salmonella was detected during a microbiological examination of organic oatmeal porridge.
The publication was also made via the website foodwarning.de.
Most often, Salmonella is transmitted through raw animal foods, especially poultry, eggs, and pork. But raw plant foods such as spices, herbs, or sprouts can also be contaminated with Salmonella.
