Recall: Listeria in Soft Cheese - In BAV Newsletter 02/2011

The cheese importer “Müller Moers” has issued a warning against consuming a batch of soft cheese. The pathogen Listeria monocytogenes has been detected. The product affected is “Le Sangle 45% Fat i.T. 250 g” (Best before date 11.07.2011; LOT number 1802). Listeria can be particularly dangerous for immunocompromised individuals such as pregnant women, the elderly, or the ill.
