Revocation of authorization for plant protection products with the active substance Alpha-Cypermethrin

The approval for Alpha-Cypermethrin as an active substance in plant protection products has been revoked by the European Commission.

The EU member states must withdraw existing approvals for plant protection products containing Alpha-Cypermethrin by 7 December 2021 at the latest. The grace period ends on 7 December 2022 at the latest.

The following plant protection products are affected in Germany:

• Fastac ME (Approval No.: 007473-00)
• ALFATAC 10 EC (Approval No.: 00A212-00)
• FASTHRIN 10 EC (Approval No.: 008614-00)
