"Risk-based Requirements for the Approval of Establishments" - Recommendation by the AFFL Project Group
The announcement of the requirements of the project group "Development of risk-based requirements for the approval of establishments" of the working group on meat and poultry meat hygiene and specific technical questions on foodstuffs of animal origin of the Länderarbeitsgemeinschaft Verbraucherschutz (AFFL) was published in the Federal Gazette on May 16, 2019. The statements are directly addressed to the approving authorities.
This announcement replaces the version from January 20, 2014. In this version, the project group specifies the obligation to approve establishments in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004, particularly in the new version for retail businesses, crafts, catering companies, manufacturers of composite foods as well as storage and repackaging businesses.
