Safety assessor courses from DGK and IKW

The requirements for safety assessors of cosmetic products have increased significantly, not least due to the entry into force of the European Cosmetics Regulation VO (EU) 1223/2009.

In cooperation with the DGK (German Society for Cosmetics) and the IKW (German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association), a total of 7 training modules are offered, including on the topic of microbiological product safety of cosmetics.

As of now, two of the seven modules can be conducted as webinars. The next course on microbiological product safety will take place on November 27th and 28th in Frankfurt. During this course, Ms. Joelle Nussbaum from the BAV Institute, among others, will speak as the head of DGK’s specialist group 2 (Microbiology and Industrial Hygiene).
