Six dead due to listeria outbreak linked to frozen corn

An outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes in several countries in Europe has resulted in the death of six people and is linked to frozen corn.

Four EU member states report seven new confirmed cases, two of them fatal, according to an update from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on an assessment in September.
