This newsletter explains the initial steps for developing a hazard analysis and risk assessment (according to Chapter 2.1.3 of the IFS HPC, Version 1) up to the creation and confirmation of the flowchart. The structure of the hazard analysis and risk assessment follows the guidelines of Chapter 2 of the IFS HPC. The IFS standards can be downloaded from www.ifs-certification.com.
