Spreadable raw sausages often contaminated with pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes
According to the report of the BVL on zoonosis monitoring 2017, potential pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes and STEC/VTEC bacteria were found in every eighth sample of spreadable raw sausage, such as tea sausage and Mettwurst.
