Cosmetic finished products must be safe and stable. This must be ensured throughout the entire duration of application and shelf life. According to the safety report in accordance with Annex 1 of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, this must be evidenced for each product! Only in this way can a best-before date (BBD) or a period after opening (PAO) be substantiated.

How is this to be evidenced? BAV Institute and its Tentamus laboratory partners carry out all necessary stability tests for you.

This includes the product-specific determination of the following parameters:

• Temperature
• Times
• Test parameters

Relevant guidelines such as ISO/TR 18811 are taken into account.
