The State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety, and Fisheries (LALLF) finds patulin and pesticides in apples and apple products

In the last two years, the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LALLF) has examined 80 samples of fresh apples and apple products. One apple juice sample was criticized due to the exceeded permissible patulin content. Another sample of fresh apples was notable for the detection of a prohibited pesticide.

In about half of the samples tested for pesticides, at least one active ingredient could be detected. No residues could be found in organically labeled products.

In our Tentamus laboratories, we regularly conduct residue analyses such as for pesticides or patulin. We provide you with fast and reliable results.

For any questions, our customer advisors are very happy to assist you.
