This week ten cosmetic products in the RAPEX fast warning system

This week, ten cosmetic products can be found in the RAPEX database of the European Union. An entry is made there due to potential serious health risks. The products are usually withdrawn from the market and destroyed. The duty of care was not sufficiently observed, and the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 were not met. The entries were made for the following hazards:

Prohibited preservatives
Undeclared allergenic fragrances
Chlorine content

Have both your cosmetic end products and your raw materials regularly analyzed for the content of the above substances. Other residues such as heavy metals, pesticides, nitrosamines, PAHs, etc., are part of the analysis spectrum of the BAV Institute and its Tentamus laboratory partners.
