What should be considered when purchasing cosmetic products online? At first glance, buying cosmetics over the internet offers many advantages: a wide range of products, targeted searches for products and brands, direct price comparison, etc.

How can consumers be sure they are only purchasing microbiologically and chemically tested and flawless products? Are the products notified under the EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 and has a safety assessment been conducted?
