Updated FAQs on Coronavirus from the BfR of 17.04.2020

Can the novel coronavirus be transmitted through food and objects?

We have already pointed out this interesting document in previous announcements (https://www.bav-institut.de)

In the latest update, the document was supplemented with the topic "Wearing homemade textile face masks (Community masks)" in public.

For other topics such as the risk of infection through the consumption of food, the BfR still considers the risk to be negligible.
