On 20.03.2020 and 23.03.2020, we informed you about the current publication of the BfR regarding the transmission of the novel coronavirus through food and objects.

In today's news, we would like to provide you with further information:

• For healthy individuals, there is currently no need to use disinfectants in everyday life. Disinfection measures to be carried out when an infected person is under quarantine should be coordinated with the attending physician or the responsible health authority.
