Washing, Cleaning, and Detergents (WCD)

WPR products are subject to the provisions of the EU-wide applicable Detergents Regulation (Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004). Additionally, the Washing and Cleansing Agents Act (WRMG) applies nationally in Germany.

Among other things, the WRMG requires the labeling of these products in the German language, and refers to Annex VII of the Detergents Regulation for further labeling requirements. In addition to other mandatory components, preservatives must be listed in the ingredient list regardless of their concentration. Furthermore, allergenic fragrances that exceed a concentration of 0.01% in the finished product must be indicated in the ingredient list. This includes all compounds currently and future listed in Annex III of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 (EU Cosmetics Regulation) as allergenic fragrances.
