Waterless cosmetic products on trend

Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion up to dental hygiene: the trend towards water-free cosmetic products continues unabated. These are either products designed for direct application, but also products used by the consumer only after further dilution or dissolution with water.

In both cases, the strict requirements of EU cosmetic law and thus the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 must be complied with. This also includes the requirements for creating a Product Information File (PIF), notification, and compliance with good manufacturing practices (Cosmetic GMP).

The requirements for product labeling must also be met (batch indication, etc.).
