Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and even dental hygiene: the trend towards waterless cosmetic products continues unabated. These are either products that are intended for direct use as such or products that are used by the consumer only after further dilution or dissolution with water.

In both cases, the strict requirements of EU cosmetics law and thus the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 must be complied with. This also includes the requirements for creating a Product Information File (PIF), notification, and compliance with good manufacturing practices (Cosmetics GMP).

The requirements for product labeling (batch information, etc.) must also be met.
