Workshop on New Guidelines for Vegan and Vegetarian Foods
At the end of the year, the "Guidelines for Vegan and Vegetarian Foods with Similarity to Foods of Animal Origin" are expected to be published by the German Food Commission. On this occasion, ALS (Working Group of Food Chemical Experts of the States and the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety), ALTS (Working Group of Experts in Food Hygiene and Foods of Animal Origin), and BLL (Federation for Food Law and Food Science e. V.) will host a workshop on March 8, 2019, to present the new guidelines and discuss them together. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance, which will be discussed in a panel discussion. The workshop is primarily aimed at interested parties from economic circles and experts from official food surveillance. The number of participants is limited, and registration with a registration form is possible by email or fax to the BLL by February 22, 2019. Further information can be found on the BLL's website.
