For the current issue, Öko-Test tested a total of 21 body oils.

The oils were tested for the following substances, among others:

• Formaldehyde/-releasers
• halogenated organic compounds
• Phthalates
• Fragrances
• Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH)

The good news is that most products received a very good or good rating. Only one product received an insufficient rating. The product stood out due to the presence of paraffins and MOAH.
