Cause analysis of contamination with Listeria, Salmonella & Co.

The BAV INSTITUTE supports you in the root cause analysis of Listeria, Salmonella, or other microbial contaminations.

The BAV INSTITUTE offers a solution that uses state-of-the-art laboratory technology to compare different strains of Listeria spp and Listeria monocytogenes. For example, it is possible to compare strains from end products with those from raw materials or environmental examinations and determine if they are the same strains. These examinations are conducted using MALDI-TOF and evaluated with specialized software. The results are available on the same day of isolation.

This allows for the quick initiation of reliable statements about contamination causes and appropriate preventive measures.

This ability to compare strains of isolated microorganisms is also possible with other germs like Salmonella, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., using the methods implemented at the BAV INSTITUTE.
