Cosmetics – Essential Oils, Allergenic Fragrances, and Labeling

Essential oils are volatile, strongly scented metabolic products of plants, produced in flowers, seeds, or leaves, among other parts. These oils and other fragrances are very often used to perfume cosmetics.

The quality of these essential oils for safe use is important. We analyze for you:

-        the microbiological quality according to ISO 17516

-        potentially label-required or forbidden fragrances

-        other volatile substances, such as terpenes

-        the total essential oil content in cosmetic end products

Ensure the quality and safety of essential oils according to Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. This data is also necessary for creating the safety report.
