Intimate cleansing lotions in test
In the Öko-Test magazine, a total of 20 intimate wash lotions were examined in detail. 2 of the 20 products received a rating of very good, 6 lotions were rated as good, and 3 received a satisfactory rating. The remaining samples only managed to achieve a sufficient or even inadequate rating.
During the test, the samples were analyzed for fragrances, halogenated organic compounds, and formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers. Using INCI, it was checked whether paraffins, silicones, or other synthetic polymers are present.
The following substances, among others, led to devaluation:
- Concerning fragrances
- Halogenated organic compounds
- PEG and PEG derivatives
- Formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers
