In the district of Erding, a case of measles has been reported. According to the Erding health department, the affected person, who works in a gastronomic establishment, was on duty during the infectious period from October 24 to November 1, 2025.

The health department is currently informing possible contacts and recommends that all persons who were in the relevant establishment during the specified period should check their measles vaccination status and seek medical advice if symptoms occur.

According to the Infection Protection Act, measles is a notifiable disease. Employers in the food industry are required to regularly train their staff on hygiene and infection protection topics to minimize transmission risks.
