Stability testing of cosmetics as part of the safety report – ISO 18811
The Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 requires a safety report for each cosmetic product. An essential component of the report is documentation on the stability and shelf life of the product. This includes microbiological and chemical-physical stability.
Our institute performs the following for you for all types of products:
- Preservative efficacy testing (PET) according to ISO 11930
- Chemical-physical stability tests with storage of samples
- Testing of certain parameters before/during/after storage
- Consultation on individual test spectrums and planning of stability tests for your cosmetic product
The BAV Institute has been conducting these tests with speed & reliability for you for many years. We also create the safety report for you and notify products via the CPNP portal.
