Whether it's shower gel, shampoo, or other cleaning products, the trend towards water-free cosmetic products continues unabated. These are either products intended for direct use as such or products that are only used by the consumer after further dilution or dissolving with water.

In both cases, the strict requirements of EU cosmetic regulation and thus the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 must be met. This also includes the requirements for creating a Product Information File (PIF), notification, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (Cosmetic GMP).

Moreover, the requirements for product labeling must be met (batch indication, etc.).
